Attention

Due to the spread of COVID-19 and the impact it has brought such as travel restrictions and policy recommendations for lessening its effects, the conference committee has agreed that it would be difficult to proceed with the event in the traditional face-to-face meeting in Japan. Therefore, it has been decided to organize the HFO2021 as an online event during the same planned period. We deeply apologize to all the participants who have been looking forward to the event in Osaka but we would highly appreciate your understanding. Sufficient technology support will be provided to make the online conference environment a pleasant experience for all participants.

1. About the conference dates

There is no change in the conference dates(16th-18th of June 2021).
Kindly wait for the final announcement of the program.

2. Registration fee for all of the participants including students and conditions for publication

The registration fee is as follows:

3. Extension of the submission deadline

Owing to the drastic change in the conference procedures, the deadline for the full paper submission is extended until the 15th of February. In this way, we hope that those who have not yet submitted their papers will be able to finally submit their contributions.

Welcome

The 1st conference was held at IET Birmingham Austin Court in 2018. The name of this conference was 1st IIR International Conference on the Application of HFO Refrigerants.
This second conference, HFO2021, will provide up-to-date information on the experience and use of HFOs and low GWP blends globally. It will be recognized worldwide as a cutting-edge event to alleviate the current global environmental issues including global warming and climate change. The international participants of this conference will be researchers, engineers, and practitioners, who gather to bring their latest developments and key technology trends all HFOs and low GWP blends for the future refrigeration and air conditioning fields.

The program will include the themes of:

•　Physical properties (general, chemical properties, chemical processes, thermophysical properties, equation of state, material compatibility, solubility, etc.)
•　Transfer processes (heat and mass transfer, two phase flow, heat exchanger, heat transfer enhancement, secondary refrigerant, etc.)
•　Application (cycle simulation, equipment, foaming agent, heat insulating material, solvent, spray, etc.)
•　Environment and Regulations (regulations and standards, environmental issues, etc.)
