“Kansai Branch of RUNTEC Corporation”
Cold storage logistics warehouse with the latest NH3 / CO2 refrigeration system and CO2 heat pump dehumidifier
In July 2019, RUNTEC Corporation newly launched the environmentally friendly Kansai Branch in Nishinomiya city, near Kobe, which features a refrigerated cold storage logistics warehouse equipped with 3D-automated racking and several energy-efficient systems using natural refrigerants. In particular, this warehouse utilizes cooling system with CO2 liquid brine cooled with NH3 (NH3 / CO2 refrigeration system). Moreover, a solar PV generation system is placed on the rooftop of warehouse, and an adsorption dehumidifier using a CO2 heat pump to regenerate the desiccant is installed to reduce cooling load in the cold storage, separating latent- and sensible-cooling.
